Role: Motion and Design | Project: ‘Don’t Eat Takis’ - Takis UK Launch
Our Takis launch trailer that took over social media.
To celebrate the launch of Takis in the UK, we developed a bold campaign that issues a fiery warning about the snack's intense spice levels, even advising the public: "Don’t Eat Takis". This campaign coincided with the recent HFSS advertising ban on snack foods, allowing us to project this provocative message throughout the city, most notably on the iconic Houses of Parliament—marking a unique moment as the first projection of its kind that actually supports the government!
As the sole motion designer on this project, I was challenged to create a visually striking solution that brought the Takis branding and campaign attitude to life. I designed all the animated content for digital screens, projections, digital screen vans, and social media posts, ensuring a cohesive and impactful visual experience.
Digital Van Loops
For the campaign we got a bunch of vans that had huge LED screens on them to drive around London, which had this loop on constant rotation. Telling the public to totally ‘not eat Takis’.
